Before active-and-social group travel was a category, there was SurfYogaBeer. This is who we are, why we do it, and the people who'll be standing next to you in the water.
Back in 2014, I started SurfYogaBeer on a simple belief: you shouldn't have to choose between a real adventure, getting in the best shape of your life, and actually making friends. Most travel made you pick one. So I built trips that do all three at once.
A decade later, that idea has taken thousands of people surfing, hiking, sailing and dancing across the world, and turned a frankly absurd number of strangers into lifelong friends. Nicaragua is where a lot of that magic was born, and Surf Camp is it in its most dialed, in-the-water form.
We've never tried to be the biggest. We've just tried to be the realest, and to never, ever phone it in. Nobody does it quite like we do, and that's the whole point.

Surf, sweat, hike, sail. We believe the best version of you shows up when your body is having fun.
You arrive solo and leave with a family. That isn't a tagline, it's the entire point of the trip.
You bring yourself. We sort the flights-to-villas-to-fun so you can actually be present.
No corporate-wellness cringe, no autopilot. A decade in, we still sweat the details.
A trip is only as good as the humans running it. Here's who's got you from the second you land.
Academy-trained SYB leaders whose only job is to make sure you improve and have the week of your life.
The same Nicaraguan surf team we've partnered with since 2015. They know every peak at Playa Maderas.
A pro photographer and videographer on every trip, so you stay present and still go home with the goods.
Got questions before you commit? Danielle has lived the trip and will happily talk you through it.
Six days at Playa Maderas, daily coaching, and a crew that becomes family. The only thing missing is you.
